Systems Analyst HPC systems
5-7 years experience with large scale systems ( Cray, IBM SP, Sun, SGI) Responsible for installation, maintenance, test, and administration of various HPC operating systems and third party applications software. Primary responsibility for installation of operating system, associated compiler and library upgrades on large scale systems. Ability to supported Data Migration Facility (DMF) a plus. Positions available at several sites, non/cleared and clearable

Systems Analyst/Secret Clearance
Sr. Level IBM SP2 systems analyst. Clearance is a must. Responsible for installation, maintenance, test, and administration of various HPC operating systems and third party applications software. Primary responsibility for installation of operating system, associated compiler and library upgrades on large scale systems. Loadleveler experience would be a plus.

Senior Systems Analyst
SGI Altix experience necessary, with job scheduling software such as Portable Batch System (PBS), Maui Scheduler, LFS or SGE or SGEEE. Experience with system calls and kernal enhancements. This is a highly complex cluster requiring only those challenged by developing innovative solutions to complex system issues.

Senior Systems Administrator
  • BS degree in Computer Science, Physics, Engineering or related field required.
  • MS degree in a related field preferred.
  • Experience in a research and development organization.
  • 5-7 years systems administration experience with networked multi-node clustered and/or distributed systems.
  • 5-7 years systems administration experience with several UNIX systems, like Solaris and Linux, as well as with MacOS X and
  • Solid experience implementing security protocols in a networked, multi-node environment.
  • Proficiency in one or more relevant programming languages such as C, C++, Java, Perl.
  • Proficiency in several systems programming and tool languages such as sql, php, python, tcl/tk
  • Knowledge of common grid software such as Globus, Condor, VDT, CTSS, etc.
  • Experience with parallel computing tools such as MPI, MPICH, OpenMPI
  • Experience with common cluster software such as PBS, Maui, SunGridEngine
  • Knowledge of current grid technologies like XML, SOAP, WSDL, SSL/TLS, X.509 Skills
  • Strong communication skills (written and oral)
Applications Specialist
Applications Specialist provides expertise in one or more engineering, oil and gas (seismic & reservoir), life sciences/computational chemistry, and visualization applications domains. This individual ensures that key codes are ported, certified and optimized on Linux clusters, performs benchmarks and makes technical presentations. Prefer Ph.D in technical/engineering discipline, but MS with experience is also well suited for this position. This position can be based anywhere on the East Coast or the Mid-West, but will involve considerable travel to client sites.

EARTH SYSTEMS MODELING FRAMEWORK :
OTHER SCIENTIFIC SOFTWARE FRAMEWORKS:


Ph.D or Masters in Physics, Math, Earth or Atmospheric Sciences
Developing numerical models in an HPC (High Performance Computing) Experience with large scale applications Environment.Systems modification, rewriting applications to achieve ESMF interface compliance. Salary range commisserate on experience.

Ph.D Researchers
Experience with large scale climate modeling on HPC systems. Must be U.S. Citizen. Post docs with ability to obtain clearance can be considered.

Ph.D Researchers
Experience with computational fluid dynamics applications on HPC systems. Must be U.S. Citizen Post docs with ability to obtain clearance can be considered.

Ph.D Researchers
Experience with earth science on HPC systems. Must be U.S. Citizen Post docs with ability to obtain clearance can be considered.

Visualization Analyst
Sr. and Jr. level positions. Responsibilites include development of scientific visualization tools and solutions to high-performance computing projects. Secret Clearance preferred.

Ph.D Researchers

COMPUTATIONAL FINANCE MODELING:
QUANTITATIVE ANALYST (QUANT):

Ph.D or Masters in Physics, Math, Computer Science,Computational Finance, Chemistry,Astrophysics, etc.

Prefer research university, but will consider all candidates. Can work with F-1, H-1B or TN Visas, but communication and presentation skills must be excellent


Prefer Ph.D in computational science and experience with large scale (Terabyte, Petabyte) applications in C++ or C#.Financial experience is not a pre-requisite, but large scale software development and an in-depth understanding of complex computational methods is a must. Understanding and application of any of the following:
  • Monte Carlo Methods
  • Black-Scholes Equation
  • Time-Series Analysis
  • Ito's Lemma
  • Gaussian/Poisson probability distributions
  • Exponential martingales
  • Multivariate volatility models.

PRODUCT MANAGEMENT DIRECTOR

Must have a significant understanding of clustering hardware used in the Linux clustering industry – including motherboards, CPU’s, memory, 32 bit and 64 bit technology, Ethernet and high speed interconnects, RAID, SAN and NAS storage, field programmable gate array technology, etc. Must have a good knowledge of the customer base and industry trends. Must have an understanding of the product development cycle. Must have successfully taken products to market. Good interpersonal skills.

PROGRAM MANAGER, SECRET CLEARANCE.
U.S. Citizen, with clearance or ability to acquire one. Located on West Coast. HPC/Grid Experience necessary. Personality, ability to grow current program directives and manage technical staff. BS, MS or PhD with 2-5 years experience managing military programs Salary range commisserate on experience.

RESEARCH MANAGER, TECHNOLOGY LAB ENVIRONMENT:

Ph.D in Computer Science or computational science from a research university.
Strong presentation skills,honed articulated defense of theories and technical positions, suitable for a corporate environment. Hands on software development skills, not purely analytical or theoretical.

DIRECTOR, HIGH PERFORMANCE COMPUTING :


Director for large scale computing center.
Must have secret clearance, previous experience with military installations. Ability to manage group of 40 scientists and technical staff. Salary range commisserate on experience.

NANOTECHNOLOGY :


Ph.D Nano-materials Developer
Carbon nanotube based products, including bulk carbon nanotube powders, aligned nanotube arrays and devices assembled from these products. Ph.D, experienced detail oriented engineer to help develop new nanomaterials and synthesis. Ability to direct an R&D effort with minimal supervision. Need several years of lab experience.

Director, Nanoscience Center.
Ph.D in Physics, chemistry or materials science with extensive scientific accomplishments. Direct activities for full time staff of 40-50 key scientists and technologists. The initial scientific thrust areas are nanocatalyst materials, magnetic nanoassemblies, and strongly correclated oxides.

ACADEMIC:


Chair, Chemistry Department
Ph.D in chemistry with extensive and actice scientific accomplishments and scientific leadership. Overall administration, direction and management of the Chemistry Department staff and programs.
